Magic: The Gathering
Saturdays 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturdays 3:00pm - 6:00pm
$5 cash or $6 Card Machine per person
If you are interested in learning or bringing someone to teach,
simply head up to Bell's Gaming Center any time on Saturday 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
Ask for the Learn to Play Magic the Gathering event.
Welcome decks will be given out and you will be taught how to play
Magic:The Gathering by friendly and experienced players.
It takes about an hour to teach someone how to play.
How it works.
Each person gets a welcome deck.
Game One They play 1 of the 2 thirty card welcome decks from the box.
Game 2 they play the the other 30 card welcome deck from the box.
Game 3 they shuffle there 2 Thirty card decks together (making a standard 60 card deck)
and learn the complexity of playing 2 colors. It's advantages and Advantages.
This takes about 1 hour. The player gets a pretty solid grasp of the basic mechanics of MTG.
AND they get to take home the welcome decks when the 3rd game is finished!
